How about a little before and after action?

We had the honor of working with Lindsay Landman (check out her blog and website - AMAZING!!) on this event in Lake Scranton PA. The event took place in the recreation room at Temple Hesed. So without further ado lets start with some before photos.

So, the entire perimeter of the room was draped in white fabric and cast with pink LED color wash. A tree branch pattern light was projected on to the dance floor.

The final touches were the tablescapes by Lindsay and floral by Carmen Bolin.

Pretty things

Lets be honest, it IS all in the details. I continuously collect pictures of details that are just so sweet. The tiara shown was created for the Philadelphia Flower Show. It's made entirely of organic matter - seeds, pods, beans, etc. How inspiring! I think I shall make one for myself!

"Dinner by Design"

"Dinner by Design" was an event hosted by the Scranton Cultural Center. This event benefitted The Lackawanna Historical Society and Scranton Cultural Center. This entire 'table-scape' was created and implemented by Duffy Event Design. We built custom "water tables" (yes! That is real water with candle and orchids floating atop!) as the central portion of this table and created fresh floral arrangements to put the icing on the cake!

Gala-licious!

A 60'x120' pole tent created a grand 3-story tall canvas. We used ivory and crimson to get a buttery look after dark. Black chair covers allowed us to create beautiful tablescapes without bringing attention to the 300 chairs in the room. We designed elegant lit crystal beaded centerpieces to create an intimate atmosphere at each table. Our client chose to top them off with red rose arrangements. Crystal beaded spiral chandeliers made a cohesive theme from table top to ceiling.
